She also was public relations manager of an international non-profit and senior account executive for a public relations agency in Chicago.
Throughout her career, Elizabeth has held volunteer leadership roles in professional and nonprofit organizations, including Healthcare Communicators of Chicago, Mayor Daley’s Task Force on Urban Women’s Health, Ann Arbor Ad Club, Ann Arbor Mayor’s Task Force on Increasing Safety for Women, Mayflower Strategic Planning Committee, and the Forest Hills Cultural Arts Committee. She holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Illinois and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Miami University.
